Flexible Trips

  • Notification: EnvoyCare Inc. will schedule a flexible ride for you. This is done in areas where an UberHealth driver can be there within 30 minutes or less.  You will likely receive a notification (via text message is common) informing you that a flexible ride has been arranged for a specific date.

  • Request When Ready: The key difference is that you, the rider, initiate the ride request when you are ready to be picked up on that specific day.

  • How to Request (via Text Message): The notification you receive will contain instructions on how to request your ride. This usually involves:

    • Replying to the text message: You might need to reply with a specific number (e.g., "1" if you have multiple flexible rides scheduled that day) 

    • Following a link: The text message might contain a link that you click to initiate the ride request.

  • Ride Dispatch: Once you send your "ready" notification, Uber Health will dispatch a driver to your location, similar to how a regular Uber ride is requested.

  • Confirmation and Tracking: You will then receive confirmation of your driver's details (name, car model, license plate) and an estimated time of arrival. You can usually track the driver's progress on a map (often accessible via a link in the text message).
